Join us TONIGHT at 6 p.m. in the K8 Commons for the PRA Board of Directors Annual Meeting. This roundtable event provides an opportunity for members of our community to ask questions about topics that are important to them: driveline, homework, discipline and dress code.
Those in attendance will hear a "State of the Union" on the status of PRA, hear updates from all our committee chairs and have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with school leadership.
Topics that will be also covered include the passage of the Blueprint bond proposal this past November and the next steps in the process, as well as an update on the progress of the Board of Director's annual strategic plan.
Are you looking for something family friendly and fun to do on Thursday, May 1 after elementary assessments or school and give back to PRA at the same time?
If so, join us at Bounce Empire from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.! Bounce Empire is generously donating 15% of all ticket sales, food, and drinks purchased for and on May 1st using our link back to PRA, which will be used to help fund future staff appreciation events.
Single tickets are $22 each, or grab some friends and purchase a 4-pack for $18 each! Make sure to purchase your tickets using this link for a portion to be donated back to PRA!
Our PRA volunteers truly have a heart of gold and are the cornerstone of our community. In an effort to express our gratitude towards everyone that has donated to our numerous events, or has shared their ideas, talents, and/or time with us, PRA cordially invites you to join us for our annual Philanthropy Dessert Event.
The event will be held on Monday, April 21 from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in the K8 Commons, where we will be serving up a healthy dose of thankfulness and some delectable treats.
Guests can RSVP for the event here. We hope to see you there!
All remaining K-12 lost and found items will be outside the K8 building on tables from 7:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 1. This will be the last opportunity students and parents are able to look for missing items before summer break. Any remaining items at the end of the day will be donated to the Sister Carmen Community Store.
Guests attending 8th Grade Continuation will sign in on the day of the event at a sign-in table at the entrance to the K-8 Courtyard.
To ensure a quick entry to 5th Grade Continuation, PRA will be implementing a 5th grade continuation ONLY pre-registration form for parents and guests.
Please fill out this form with the names of parents and all guests that will be attending 5th Grade Continuation. PRA will also be requesting a birthdate for all adult attendees. Your birthdate will be run through our school Raptor system to clear your entrance to the continuation. Once approved, PRA will send home name tags for you to wear in Thursday folders on May 15. Please have your name tag with you when you arrive.
In addition, if you would like to have your child(ren) attend their sibling's 5th or 8th grade continuation ceremony and they will be returning to school afterward, you can use the same form for this.
PRA is also in need of staff, parent, and/or student volunteers to help make the 5th and 8th Grade Continuation Ceremonies a success. Please consider volunteering for one or more of the following 5th grade and/or 8th grade events on Wednesday, May 21. Click here for more information on the opportunities available or to sign up.

Thursday, April 24, 2025 has been designated as Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. This annual event is primarily intended for children 8-12 years of age. Students who are slightly younger or older may also participate. The purpose is to help youth make connections between education and a future in the workplace. PRA supports students having the opportunity to spend the day at their parent’s workplace to gain this experience.
Children who attend work with a parent will not be counted absent from school. However, students will be expected to complete all make-up assignments or alternate assignments related to their shadow experience.
In order to eliminate a large volume of attendance calls, we ask parents of children who will participate to respond to the Google Form here.
General guidelines:
1. The absence to shadow a parent at work should not count against a student’s attendance status, unless there is a significant attendance issue or concern to date.
2. Parents may not “substitute” another day in lieu of April 24 and still have the absence counted as Take Your Child to Work Day. Standard excused/unexcused guidelines would apply to situations involving a parent request to have a child shadow on a day other than April 24.
PRA is happy to be offering the annual Summer Enrichment Program (SEP)! It is designed for current K-5th grade PRA students. This program will be held at the school and be taught by highly qualified PRA teachers.
Students will receive small group and one-on-one instruction in reading and math. This program is geared toward students who would benefit from extra support, specifically in reading and math. This intensive program runs in person Monday through Friday for two weeks, from June 2-13. It takes place from 9:00 a.m.-12p.m. each day. The cost for the entire program is $300 per child ($500 total for two siblings).
