K8 Back to School Night: Tuesday, August 26

K8 Back to School Night

PRA is excited to invite all K8 families to come join us for Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 26th!

For elementary families, the K-5 will run two sessions where you can meet your child(ren)'s homeroom teacher. The first session will be from 4:30-5:00 p.m. with the second session to follow from 5:15-5:45 p.m.

For middle school families, students will be able to attend all class periods by following their schedule from 6:00-8:00 p.m. that evening. Please make sure you have your child's schedule downloaded (from Infinite Campus) to your phone before you arrive. Parents will begin the evening in their student's first period classroom, where they will be greeted by a welcome video from school administrators. We encourage all to attend as this is a great opportunity to hear more about the teacher's plans for the year.

As part of Back to School Night, all middle school families are also invited to a special presentation by our Executive Director April Wilkin based on the book How to Raise an Adult by Julie Lythcott-Haims. Two sessions of this presentation are open to all K8 families, in the K8 Library at 4:30 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.

Back to School attendees should plan to park in the K-8 parking lot, the Preble Creek cutout, the high school parking lot, or the yellow and green driveline lanes.

K12 News & Notes

New Attendance Reporting Process: PRA is implementing a simple but impactful change to how attendance information is collected from families. Beginning this school year, all attendance-related communications—including absences, early release notifications, and pre-approved absence requests—will be submitted exclusively through a new Google Form.

This centralized form is designed to improve clarity, reduce errors, and streamline the entire attendance process. Families will no longer need to call, email, or leave voicemails to report attendance items. Instead, the form will guide them to provide the information we need in a consistent and complete way. More information will be emailed to families on Friday.

School Meal Registration: PRA Families, registration for school meals for the 2025–2026 school year is now open! Please note that the registration website has changed. All students who plan to receive school-provided lunches must be registered through this site. This site will also include the eligibility form for free/reduced lunches.

Need a paper application? Contact the Finance Department at 720-723-2113 or by email.
