Tickets are on sale now for the high school spring musical, The Lightning Thief! Performances will take place on March 13-15.

Tickets are available for $10 for adults and $8 for students/seniors.

This event takes place from 5 - 7 p.m. and will feature presenters including the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies, Fiske Planetarium, Nature's Educators, PRA's own Heather Preusser presenting her newest novel, and much more!

GLCs are an incredible resource for the PRA community. These parent volunteers assist with coordinating events, communications with parents, and assisting parents with appropriate channels to improve organizational efficiency. Click to read the full news story.

PRA Parent Night - March 3: Student mental health is at the forefront of our minds these days. Student mental health is best supported when school staff, families, and other stakeholders work together as a team.
Join Sadie Skattum, ES Counselor, and Dan Eaker, MS Counselor, for a parent night focused on supporting your student's mental health. This session will include a time of Q&A.

Thank You PRA Community!: Members of F.A.S.T. would like to thank you for all of the contributions made to make this year’s Staff Appreciation Week a success! We really could not have done it without your generous food, gift card and monetary donations. Also, a big thank you to those that donated their time to prepare, restock and clean up each day of the event. The PRA staff was so thankful for warm meals on these cold winter days and really felt spoiled! Thank you for making PRA the wonderful community it is!

Picture Day - Thursday, March 6: PRA has an upcoming picture day for Group Choir, Group Band, and Orchestra coming up on Thursday, March 6! Additionally, 5th and 8th grade panoramic photos will take place in April, so stay tuned for more information!
Read Across America Day: Read Across America Day is on March 2, 2025, and PRA will be celebrating the following week, March 3 - 7. PRA's celebrations will culminate with a spirit day on March 7! All students, grades K-12, are invited to participate on March 7 by dressing up as their favorite book character, wearing something Dr. Seuss-related, or wearing something reading-related!

On Friday, February 28, author DeLovell Earls is visiting PRA to read with the 1st - 4th grade classes! He will be reading his book "What If..." and answering questions about being an author. See the flyer here for more information and to purchase a signed copy of his book to have delivered to your student on the day of the reading!
You can also purchase a copy of the book here. If you want the book delivered to the school, click the Last Minute Option.
PRA is offering an opportunity for students in grades 3-5 to join a before school math club, centered on mathematical fluency. The club will be based on the 24 Math Game.
This club will take place on Tuesday mornings weekly from 7:35-8:10 a.m. from March 4 - April 8. The club will not meet over spring break.
The end of session tournament will take place after school on April 16 until 5:30 p.m.

3rd, 4th, and 5th grade families will be receiving a text message from CODE STUDIO over the next week to view their student's tech project. This text can look like spam, so if it says it's from Code Studio, please know that it is safe to open the link and please don't delete it.

Show off your creativity this Pi Day on Friday, March 14. Wear a shirt that's Pi or math-related – whether it's a clever math pun, the Pi symbol, or something entirely unique. You can either purchase or create your shirt.
One winner per class will earn 100 Peak Points, and all participants will earn Spirit Day Peak Points for getting involved.
*Remember to check your grade-level pages for information from your GLC.
PRA College Day will take place on Thursday, March 6 during Peaks and all high school students are welcome. Younger grades and parents are welcome to join after school ends at 3:15 p.m.

Senior and junior families are invited to join PRA for the Senior Leadership Capstone Symposium on Wednesday, March 19 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the HS gym and classrooms.
The Senior Leadership Capstone is designed to give PRA seniors the opportunity to explore a possible career interest in depth, under the guidance of a mentor who works in that field. Seniors will present their projects they developed with their mentor's assistance at the Symposium.
Successful completion of a Senior Leadership Capstone project is a graduation requirement. Please come see the incredible work done this year by the Class of 2025 seniors.
PRA 11th grade students will take both the SAT and CMAS on Wednesday, April 16. Please review this document for more details and information.
On April 17, all 10th grade students will be taking the PSAT 10 at 8:15 a.m., and all 9th grade students will be taking the PSAT 9 at 11:45 a.m. To review test day details for the 9th grade PSAT 9, click here. To review test day details for the 10th grade PSAT 10, click here.
Parents, if you have a student that has testing accommodations for SAT, CMAS, PSAT 10, or PSAT 9, they will be emailed separately with additional test day instructions - including arrival and departure times.
There will be no school for 12th grade students April 16 & 17. Please review the test week schedule for additional details.

As we prepare for this year's After Prom event Saturday, April 5 from 11 p.m. - 2 a.m., we are excited to create a memorable and safe experience for our students. To make this happen, we rely on the generosity of parents and volunteers in our community.
We kindly ask for your support in the form of donations. Whether it’s food, beverages, decor, or financial contributions, every little bit helps us put together an unforgettable night for our students. Your involvement is crucial in helping us create a fun and safe environment where they can celebrate together.

The HS yearbook is on the lookout for photos of students participating in sports outside of PRA. This encompasses all athletic activities your student is involved in, such as dance, swimming, archery, horseback riding, gymnastics, wrestling, lacrosse, club sports, circus arts, etc.
Please email your photo to hsyearbook@prospectridgeacademy.org. Include the student's name and grade, what team they are on, and any other important descriptions.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our girls' basketball team on its Senior Day this past Wednesday!
Now, PRA Athletics is looking to pack the gym again this Friday for the boys' basketball Senior Day game against Bennett! Varsity tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. Ticket link.
