Parents, as we prepare for the final few weeks of the 2024-25 school year, please read this letter from K-12 Nurse, Jennifer Francis, regarding medication pick-up, immunization reminders, new medication forms for 2025-26, as well as clothing needs for next school year.

Please remember to complete a Household Change Form if you have moved recently. The completed form along with a current proof of residence can be dropped off in either front office or emailed to registrar@prospectridgeacademy.org
PRA is currently looking for new Grade Level Coordinators (GLCs) for the 2025-26 school year for the following classes:
Class of 2030 (rising 8th graders) (1-2)
Class of 2029 (rising 9th graders) (2)
Class of 2027 (rising 11th graders) (2)
These parent volunteers assist with coordinating events, communications with parents, and assisting parents to improve organizational efficiency. Click to read the full news story.

As we approach summer break, we would like to inform you of the adjusted office hours at PRA to ensure that you are aware of our availability during this time.
May 23 - May 27: CLOSED
May 28 - June 13: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
June 16 - August 8: CLOSED
Beginning August 11: 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Should you need assistance or have inquiries during this period, we encourage you to reach out during our designated hours. If you are unable to reach us during our office hours, please leave a voicemail and your call will be returned as soon as possible. Have a great summer!
Prospect Ridge Academy's Tutoring List: Parents, if you are interested in tutoring opportunities over the summer for your child, please contact the K8 office 720-399-03000 and they will provide you with information of the staff members that are available.
PRA Host Families Needed: Nonprofit EF High School Exchange Year (EF) is looking for caring volunteer Prospect Ridge Academy host families for EF international students that will arrive to Colorado in August 2025.

We are so excited to welcome a new batch of Middle School Miners! As we all start looking ahead to next school year, please see the linked slide deck presentation for information key to all new middle school families.

The Summer Reading Challenge is back! This is an optional, but highly encouraged way to help students keep their brains active over the summer. For details on the summer reading challenge, click here.
All students who complete the required minutes for their grade level AND return the flier to school by August 22nd will be invited to a celebration at the beginning of the school year!

Want to play a band or orchestra instrument? This is the place for you! Students tried some instruments this past week and were sent home with flyers on where to get instruments. If your student would like to OPT into band or orchestra for next year, please fill out this form.

This summer, PRA is thrilled to introduce its very first Executive Functioning (EF) Bootcamp for all incoming 6th graders! We strongly encourage all 6th graders to participate in this fantastic opportunity.
As students transition to middle school, they will benefit from a dedicated Executive Function (EF) course designed to equip them with essential skills for success. This course will incorporate research-based strategies and techniques to foster effective studying and learning habits. During the boot camp, students will develop vital Executive Function skills that not only enhance their academic performance but also build a foundation for lifelong learning. Don't miss out on this chance to empower your child as they embark on their middle school journey!
Skills include flexible thinking, organizational skills, planning and time management, self-advocating, and starting tasks. Please register for one of the five sessions here! Scholarship assistance is available! Please email Kathryn Hinshaw.

Parents of rising 8th grade students, congratulate your 8th grader in their 2026 yearbook! Receive an early bird discount for ads completed with payment by October 31, 2025.
The final deadline to submit and pay for an ad at the regular price is November 18, 2025.

This summer (July 28-August 1) rising seniors (Class of 2026) have the opportunity to participate in an intensive week-long college admissions bootcamp workshop with Dr. LeCarner.
The Bootcamp will take place at PRA in the high school library from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and the fee for the Bootcamp is $500. For more information, visit our news story here. To sign up, click here.

The PRA High School girls golf team finished 7th overall, and saw senior Hope Torres earn a 4th place finish as an individual, earlier this week at the Class 2A State Golf Tournament held in Pueblo!
Torres led all Miners with a total score of +13 (157), highlighted by a Day Two surge with a round of +2 (74).
PRA sophomore Ashley Dinges finished tied for 38th, while fellow sophomore Saya Neima followed close behind in 43rd overall. PRA junior Ye Yoon Choi was the fourth Miner in action and she finished 53rd overall. Click here to view the full results.
This past weekend, the PRA High School track and field programs had four student-athletes earn podium finishes at the 2025 CHSAA State Track and Field Championships!

- Nick Shoemaker, 7th place in 1,600-meter run
