Prospect Ridge Academy is excited to announce its partnership with Recycling Society for the 2025-26 Miner Mania service event. With the support of Aluminum Dynamics and Rocky Mountain Recycling, PRA will be one of 45 schools nationwide to compete in the Million Cans Recycling contest and the only school in Colorado. Click this link to read more!
Over 3.5 millions cans have been recycled to date through this annual contest, which was launched in 2022 and gets underway in October and runs through April 30. PRA is the only school in Colorado that is competing in this annual competition.
To help us launch the Million Cans Recycling Contest, we encourage families to drop off their clean, empty aluminum cans when you come to campus for Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, October 15.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held Wednesday, October 15 from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., with a lunch break from 12 p.m.-1 p.m. While attendance is not mandatory, we highly encourage you to participate as these conferences are a great opportunity to discuss your child’s progress and goals with their teachers.
Please note that there will be no school for students on this day, but secondary students are kindly asked to attend their scheduled conferences. These students will have the chance to demonstrate their leadership skills by taking the lead in their conferences.
