There is still time to get your tickets for 2025 Miner Gold Rush & Fall Festival event, scheduled for Saturday, October 4! MGR is the official kick-off event to the school year, bringing our PRA families together for a fun day of community building and fundraising!
Looking to be involved? We have multiple student volunteer opportunities, as well as adult volunteer opportunities available for the 2025 MGR and Fall Festival event. Most openings are 2 hours or less so volunteers will still have lots of time to enjoy the event.
MGR Food Trucks and Goodies
We will also have food trucks on site for the event. This year we're happy to welcome Peyote Mexican, Food Catering and Campfire Hot Dog Grill to the event so that our families have some great lunch options available right on site! We're also planning on having a coffee truck on campus, courtesy of The Rush Coffee.
In addition to the food truck vendors, NJHS is hosting a bake sale at MGR this year to raise money for their candy drive. Be sure to stop by their booth as they look to raise $800 to ship candy to US military deployments!
Please note the office hours at PRA to ensure that you are aware of our availability during the school year.
Front Desk: 7:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
New Attendance Reporting Process: PRA is implementing a simple but impactful change to how attendance information is collected from families. Beginning this school year, all attendance-related communications—including K-12 full and partial day absences, and K-12 pre-approved absence requests of three or more days —will be submitted exclusively through a new Google Form. This form is also accessible at the top of the Attendance page on the PRA website.
2025 CMAS Scores: Parents can access their students' 2025 CMAS scores by following the steps in this document.
NHS Blood Drive: On Thursday, October 2, the high school NHS will be sponsoring a Vitalent Blood Drive in the High School Gym.
High School Students who are over 16, and meet the height and weight requirements on the attached form, may donate with parental consent. The permission slip must be signed for them to donate. All adult members of the PRA community are welcome to donate blood. You can sign up using this SignUp Genius link.
Driveline Reminder: PRA would like to remind families that U-Turns on Preble Creek or illegal and can be dangerous to students and/or PRA driveline staff. Please reference this Driveline Do's and Don'ts for additional information.
Dogs on Campus: As a friendly reminder, dogs are not allowed on campus at any time whether they are on a leash or carried by an individual. Having dogs on campus can pose a safety risk to both dogs, students, and community members. Thank you for your understanding.
Free & Reduced Lunch Program: Families are encouraged to apply for the federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program. Qualifying families not only receive meal benefits but also gain access to a wide range of additional supports through PRA and the community. Click here to read more!
